Subject: Washing your Westy?

Okay, I'm new to the pop-top thing and I was just wondering if washing a Westy traditionally presents any problems. I washed it last night for the first time and I was a bit hesitant to spray water at the top seals. Have any of you pop- top owners had problems with water getting in while you're hosing off your Westy? Should I be concerned especially with the high presure wands at the local car wash?
