Hey gang-

I drove home the other day and parked the car- everything was working as well as it should given that I like *to think* that I take care of my vehicle.

Basically- the next morning when I started my 86' Gl up- the idle began to race. It's managed to park itself around the 2k mark and remains there pretty much all day. I haven't done anything to the engine recently other than check the oil in the very back....

Would I be correct to assume that this is most likely an air flow sensor problem right off the bat? the Vanagon has a little over 170 miles on it and I'm not sure if it's ever been replaced or not....

many thanks

Myles
