A L.E.O acquaintance of mine leaves his sheriff Photo ID on the dash. He also mentioned leaving a half open box of your favorite ammunition on the seat.

Seems to work for him.

Out of sight out of mind works best for me. There ARE places in a westie that cannot be accessed easily unless you have knowledge of their existence. Where are they? You don't think I'm goin' to tell you where Phaedra hides the spare Stella-Kibbles do you?

The best answer I have seen is a behind the seat equipment safe used in pickup cabs. This fellow had it bolted to the floor aft of the front seats. He had a "weekender pop top" Yes it was in the way. Yes he had foiled theives before. Five top grade flyrods and associated reels and so on is a pretty penny to replace. Pigbum ugly but it worked.

cheers,

pensioner
