The reward isn't the VW Show or The Vans.... Its the VW owners that camp out in the local parks and on the convention center, drag race or Wal-Mart parking lots.

If you think VW's are classics you got to meet the Splittie and Bay owners. They have perfect engines and drive trains but revel in the rust around the front window. They love luggage racks, ladders, barbecue grills, portable lighting, fire pits, hardwood bumpers and beer.

All I've ever met are casual, friendly, informative and addicted to their VW.
