I'm not aware of any connection between the coolant level and the oil pressure warning system. On my 88GL when the buzzer and warning lights came on it was strictly oil related. A broken belt on the water pump struck the connector of the wire to the pressure switch, knocking it off to switch. The oil pressure buzzer and the oil pressure lights came on immediately. Aside from the replacing the belt, it was an easy fix. I just reconnected the switch and all was well.

You may have a loose connection and may well have this problem show up again. The switch that I had my problem with is located at the bottom rear of the engine under the crankshaft pulley. Hard to get to but can be reached when standing directly are rear of engine.
