I've been reading similar articles for years. It seemed obvious to me, I wonder why California couldn't figure it out! You can't mandate expensive and / or physics-limited engineering solutions without the monetary incentive of the marketplace. Well anyway, before I get flamed -- what did they say about the 2001 EV?
