Hello The lower cable support came of the track and wreaked havoc with the cable on the pulley in the motor assembly. I removed the assembly and seem to have been able to straighten the kinks on the cable and put it all back together. I have a few questions for those who have been here before. 1.) What's the best lube to use on the motor pulley and worm gear? (Presently there appears to be white lithium grease on the worm gear). 2.) What's the best lube to use on the cable? 3.) What's the best lube to use on the slide and on the rail that lifts the window? (There was some remnants of thick grease on the rail) 4.) Is the rail supposed to be straight or bowed. (Mine was bowed. I suspected this was caused by tension applied to it by the PW mechanism. 5. )Does the motor itself need to be lubed? Thanks for any responses. Gary Gary McEachern, Reading Ma.
