| My screens are solid and as far as I know everything on the westy is as it | should be... so where are those suckers, no pun intended, getting in? | | Has anyone discovered a secret mosquitoe hatch? | | Could they be entering through the various vents?? VW knows diddley-squat about the tenacity and determination of Canadian mosquitoes. I also had mosquitoes invading my personal space a number of years ago. The little monsters were getting in through the gaps in the roof vent screen. The screen doesn't make a bug proof seal at the rear edge that fits around the roof vent hardware. I packed some weather stripping along that edge along with a length of wire coat hanger to keep the weather stripping in place. I'm assuming here that you do not have your van's rear hatch open with the hatch screen in place. The rear hatch screen is another poor example of an insect barrier design.
