Daryl, How come you didn't take a volkswagen on your road trip? Would have been much more memorable, especially driving over all the mountains. Would have been a good test run for one of your trannys. Or do all the vw mechanics drive F**ds when they go on road trips? Take my word for it, veedubs are great for trips like that. They can handle it quite well. Btw, everyone at my local vw dealership drives F**ds or something like that. Does that mean something? Harald '90 westy
