mike, my van always runs fine until the tranny and assoc. paraphenalia starts to proverbially head south. after the tranny is rebuilt, the problem goes away for another one or two thousand miles, then starts up again after one of my incredible "poison gas moments" (read as a huge burnout in first and second producing a nice sized cloud of rubber fumes). it is truly awe inspiring to see a 2 ton vehicle do that, but i digress.

in my opinion, your transmission is starting to go, and you should get it looked at. might not be the tranny, and could also be a ground that is going bad on the tranny mount, or a bad tranny mount causing binding in the system. i dunno.

oh well, thats my $.02 worth.

peace, out. -suds
