    Hi,
I'm new to the list.  I am considering buying an '87 vanagon wolfsburg ed.
but it needs some work and I a looking to get a general sense of how much
that work will cost i.e. can I afford this.
I know it needs a new universal joint for the steering and it is having some
problems
getting into 1st and 2nd though the gear box does not need replacing.  I
believe it
needs new bushings?  Finally there are some fuse problems with the lights -
they go on and off.
Can anyone give me an idea of how much I am looking at for this work?
