I think the horse was actually Buttercup, no? A friend of mine teases me with that name for my rig because it's that yellowish Vanagon color they used in 1983. I think Buttercup, while a fine name, is a little too sissified for a tough brute with 90 hp and a top speed of about 70. I tried to make the name "Shane" or "Bullet" or even "Trigger" stick, but somehow it keeps coming back to "Buttercup." Maybe some bull bars would change her mind--or some mudder tires...

Now just to touch on the hub cap issue. There are three being auctioned off as a lot on www.ebay.com. last I checked. They don't look in great shape, one seems to have a bite out of it. But it's a tip, and it gives me an excuse to reply to the Dale Evans stuff. I saw some for sale elsewhere on the internet a month or so back. You can SEARCH hub caps. But I think it was something like www.hubcaps.com but not sure exactly. they were like $35 a piece in perfect cond. allegedly. Normal disclaimers--I have no affiliation etc.

Good luck Jeff 83.5 Westy LA,CA
