Bought some stuff for this very purpose yesterday. Haven't had a chance to evaluate it yet since most of today was devoted to more urgent cooling system repairs.

We had a piece of misc. screen purchased once to repair a tent. I had been holding it to the van using about a dozen ceramic magnets from Radio Shack. This was time consuming to install and remove and of course we needed something for the other window too. At a Sports Authority store in Chicago I found a piece of mosquito netting made by Coghlan. It's 48 X 78 in (122 X 198 cm). Cutting this in half will give me two pieces, each about two ft by 3 ft which should cover the windows quite well, using magnets on three sides and a generous overlap over the fixed glass on the rear edge. I had planned on using magnetic tape which is typically 3/4 in wide and adhesive on one side. There is some question about how well the adhesive would stick to the screen if the non-sticky side of the magnet is against the van. The other approach would be to ignore the adhesive and just put the screen against the van and the magnet against it like I have been doing with separate magnets. I don't know if the tape magnet is strong enough when it is separated from the metal surface by the thickness of the screen. I will play with this tomorrow and we'll try it when we camp tomorrow nite. Have to remember to take it off before driving away! We also bought one of those foam egg carton shaped mattress toppers. The bed in the GL is a little hard for my taste.
