The tubing will not come into contact with anything other than the rubber hoses used to couple it to whatever-----

Or do you mean, even touching the underbody?

Insulate it with rubber hose sections also?

I think the point that was being made was that electrolisis will start inside the engine, and it's aluminium fittings.
