Hi Steve,

I must have missed your class in netting ;).  I was plagued with the tiny
little biters, my first time in Swan Hills Alberta, Canada.  They were
colloquially known as no-see-ums and several other names not suitable for
mixed company.

Since this was 1959 I would suspect your information to be slightly in
error.  ;)   Taping sleeves and pantlegs helps.  They will sneak under your
hatbrim to deliver a very devastatingly painful bite.  They travel in large
groups, wear black leather, tattoos, odd scarves and chains...
