We have used an outback oven for backpacking for a number of years. It works on a Propane (or white gas) stove. We were going to try it out at the Cowvab campout this past weekend, but there was sooooo much food (and all of it good) that there was no need or no incentive. I assume it will work and that way you could make alot of stuff.

Was camping this past weekend and someone asked me whether I had an oven in my Westy. This doesn't seem too complicated and I was wondering how others have attempted to rig up an oven in theirs. I was thinking about some sort of metal box with a rack that goes on the burners. The downside of course is that you would have to control temperature manually.
