Oh great collective mind, Does anyone have a guide to automotive light bulb codes and the wattages etc. I need a less powerful bulb for the aftermarket interior light I installed and there are several that have the right base but I can't determine what wattage they are. 1156 is the bulb that came with it. It's very bright and hot. I tried a 67, I think it was, and it was even brighter.many of the 60's 80's and 90's seem to have the right base but I can't seem to find any info on wattage or output, only that a certain bulb code is used for vanagon taillights or Citroen back-up lights etc. TIA -- Miguel |
