Before you start to flame on bus depot, ask yourself the following question: "Why did you order from them in the first place, even if you had heard they had slow service??" A hundred bucks says your answer is BECAUSE OF THE PRICE!! I have restored 3 buses in the last 3 years and have bought a TON of parts from various dealers. I can tell you that NO ONE can compare to Bus Depot's low prices. So either plan far enough ahead in your work so that the 2 weeks for delivery (by the way, read the Bus Depot order info, it says "10 working days") is not a problem or order from Rocky Mountain Motorworks and get the parts within 5 days but pay up to twice as much for the parts. The decision is yours, but there's no need to publicly flame an honest guy helping out us 'poor' bus folks who can't afford the over-blown prices of the bigger parts houses. With the 3 buses I have restored I did a quick estimate and saw that I saved approximately $1,000 bucks ordering from bus depot, which b! ! y the way is exactly how much I paid for a 65 camper that I restored and just sold for $4,000! Keep up the good work Ron! |
