IF it goes away, how could it be a bad motor mount?  Mine does the same
thing.  The moisture on the disk makes the most sense to me.  My camper
will sit for days, sometimes weeks, and will do this too.  But it does go
away after everything warms up.

OK, so I have received responses from many a good-hearted listees about my
shuddering transmission.  The possible causes seem to range from moisture
to a
blown rear (front or whatever) main seal to a transmission mount.  I have
the
manual transmission, and the shuddering goes away after a little driving.
Is
this indicative of anything?
