I have been trying to locate a new mudflap for my 85 westy, the one it had on it finally fell off. I had never seen the actual flap part, it had fallen off long before i purchased this westy. So I called Delta Six, they don't sell them. Bus Depot didn't have them in stock. Go Westy didn't have any in stock and said there is a legal battle over the VW symbol on the mudflap so they don't know when they can sell them again. So I call Camelback VW and give the part number from the Busdepot and Go Westy site and it comes up in the computer as left front mudflap vanagon. So I spend the $70, not bad and got the part today. Not the westy mudflap, just a little piece of rubber that belongs in a set of four wanna be mudflaps. So I call them back and give the part number and tell them what i want. So he goes in under 85 vanagon and the computer shows no mudflaps available at all. Which he found very strange since the part number went through as a vanagon mudflap and would have fit if it had been what i wanted. So if anybody knows where I can get one of these please let me know. I just spent over 1k on the westy gettin fixed up with new tires, propane tank, skylight and other odds and ends, so I would like to have it finished by putting on the mudflap.
