Subject: Fwd: 81 Vanagon For Sale in MA

Came across the following ad in "The WantAdvertiser" in Massachusetts:

81 VW VANAGON. Runs & drives. Nds batt. Some dents. No rust. $500/bo; Call Dana (617) 921-3790

I called Seller. He says it is actually an '82 air-cooled with an '81 tranny. Been off the road for 1 year. Not registered. Last registered in NH. He said if he doesn't sell it soon it will go to the junkyard.

I do not know Seller, can make no recommendation and really have no knowledge of air-cooled Vanagons. Just passing on general info to the list in case someone else has an interest. Please don't e-mail me. Call Dana. He asked me to post to the list. Good luck and YMMV.
