It figures..... 3 days before the Chicago VW campout, and my clutch starts
getting funky!
 Here are the symptoms. The clutch engages/disengages about 1 inch off the
floor.
I have no visible leaks anywhere.
 I had my wife push the pedal down by hand until she felt resistance.  I was
watching the slave cylinder, it didnt move untile resistance was met, maybe
only 1/2 to 3/4 inches of travel.
 I think this sounds like a master cylinder leaking internally- but I have
been wrong before!
Has anyone experienced this? Is my diagnosis even close, or am I barking up
the wrong tree? How bad is the master to change??
