Subject: Sink trap blues.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

The sink trap on my '91 Westy started leaking last weekend, so I just turned the little screw at the bottom and...of course it broke right off. The screw was all rusted away, and generally a mess. The bowel at the bottom of the trap came right off.

I ordered the parts to replace the trap, but here's my problem---I don't know how to get the trap assembly off the bottom of the sink! When I turn the trap assembly under the sink, it just turns, along with the stainless part in the bottom of the sink.

Any plumbers out there? How do you get the d**n thing off?

Thanks in advance.
