Hey, I have exactly the same problem. Glad someone else can share they're experience (and hopefully resolutions). Where did you order the new parts for the sink trap? (cost?) Can you just replace the broken screw or does it have to be the entire sink trap (which looks like its in great shape to me).

Thanks,

The sink trap on my '91 Westy started leaking last weekend, so I just turned the little screw at the bottom and...of course it broke right off. The screw was all rusted away, and generally a mess. The bowel at the bottom of the trap came right off.

I ordered the parts to replace the trap, but here's my problem---I don't know how to get the trap assembly off the bottom of the sink! When I turn the trap assembly under the sink, it just turns, along with the stainless part in the bottom of the sink.

Any plumbers out there? How do you get the d**n thing off?

Thanks in advance.
