The rear KYBs on our Westy have been fine, but I would caution you to use a heavy weight rubber mounting at the top of the front shocks if you use KYBs, since the rubber supplied with the KYB shocks is too rapidly loosens (symptom is that you think you need new shocks and then get a set, and then... - ask me how I know this).

I augmented each of the upper rubber mounts with half of one of the rubber mounts for the sway bar link (where it goes into the lower control arm), since that was what I had available. Since then I've have been pretty happy with them, although I intent to upgrade to Bilsteins when I replace the springs (I've got the new Boge lowered springs from Bus Depot waiting to be installed).
