Hi,

As I was pushing down on the stick shift on my '84 Camper to get into reverse the spring mechanism seemed to let go. Now the stick shift moves freely far to the left and I have to hunt about a bit to tell Reverse from 1st from 3rd gears. It's taken a bit of getting used to but it's not much of a problem now.

Am I about to have no linkage at all? Is this the beginning of a bigger problem? How much trouble would it be to fix?

Thanks for suggestions.
