Subject:      88 With a Squeaky Front End

My 88 Vanagon GL has a squeaking sound that comes from the front suspension
somewhere. My mechanic replaced bushings and the sound stopped for a while.
Now the squeaks are back.

Does anyone know what bushings he was referring to and if there might be a
better line of bushings one can install to make the squeaks go away forever?
