Today I learned just how sensitive our OXS is to exhaust leaks. Last week I
noticed a leak at one of the "Y" gaskets on our Westfalia. I checked that it was
puffing downward and wasn't going to harm anything like water pipes or wires.
Soon I noticed that the driveability of the van was degenerating and my gas
mileage was also worsening. I had read on the List that leaks can introduce OX
into the exhaust and cause the OXS to give false (lean) readings but for such a
small leak I figured that the exhaust gas pressure would be all outward and no
OX could ever get in. WRONG. Today I had the leak fixed and the van purrs like a
kitten :-)

Just thought you should know how sensitive our OXS/Digifant system is.
