I believe that your problem is different from mine.  I see occasional flashing
for no good reason, but my temp needle seems normal.  When the circuitry in the
dash thinks that the temp is very high it also flashes the LED to get your
attention.  Maybe your temp sensor or the connection to it is unreliable.
