Listees,
'87 Westy, just over 50k miles, suddenly developed some sort of fuel (fume?)
leak in the tank area. No dripping, no spots under the bus, but a strong
odor of gas after driving. I have my Bentley manual open to the Digifant
tank illustration on pages 20-26,27. Looks like MANY places to leak from.
Any suggestions where to start looking? Ideas for troubleshooting? This
problem appeared after filling the tank w/ the gaspump nozzle set on extra
low flow. I was happy to have filled the tank without belching gas out the
filler for a change, until we got out at home & the gas odor hit us.
