One other thing: the German or VW grease intended for CV use is SUPERIOR to anything else. The moly and lead contents are critical. Don't use anything else. In fact, if you buy a good boot kit, it will contain a pack of the good grease and it won't even be an issue. Pep Boys or others will have a grease pack in there that is full of inferior grease. Consider this when you're price comparing on the boot kits. Get a German kit and do it right. Nobody wants this service interval to be short!
