What is the best product out there to apply to a white pop top to restore its gloss/gel coat finish? I did check the archives but would like some more opinions. The van has just over 40,000 miles and is in good condition. The top, however, has always had a chalk like appearance (we've owned it just over a year).

Would some type of marine wax do the trick?

Thanks in advance for your help.
