I installed my new Stebro muffler yesterday (an easy one hour job), and
I'm really impressed!  Very high quality, as expected, but the sound was
completely unexpected! It actually sounds like the finely tuned German
machine that it is!  The tone is deep and mellow, and yet much quieter
than stock.  Think Porsche.


I can't give it enough praise.  It's worth every penny, and it's
probably the cheapest way to totally change the driving experience of
your Vanagon.
