Seem Rust? Well Ive been fighting seam rust on 2 84' Westys for about 1.5 years now. It wasnt until I got so sick using gimmicks like rustolium spray paint or "One Step" etc...that i decided to sand blast ALL the seams down to the bone metal. Even after you have dont this the job is far from done, I dont care WHAT Terry says(Even though he knows alot about this and is a good listee to ask help)

The only thing I have found to work is POR-15 paint. Its a pain to work with but when used correctly it stops rust from spreading again(at least it has for 5 months now) Once you have followed ALL the instrcutions on the POR-15 Then its time to spray a "Corrosion stopper" spray on the inside of the seams only accessible from the interior except the rear seams can be reached by taking out brake lights and giving a good coat of corrosion stop spray every six months. Also if you have a westy take off the city water/ac power inlets and then rust treat and seal it up with new gaskets avaliable at Bus Depot.com and silicone spray.

These are just my opinions, POR-15 can be found at:

www.porstore.com

P.S Most topcoat paints wont stick to POR-15 paint unless you sand the POR15 with 220 grit sandpaper 1st The POR-Top Coat primer sucks, dont buy it I did.
