Brian's alert is well worth your serious attention! On our ski trip to
Colorado last March, we were suddenly without much power. After stopping
the van to take a look, I discovered gas gushing (not just dripping)
from the same 2" hose described by Brian. The repair was small but I
keep wondering how close we came to a dangerous, van-destroying fire.
Just an inspection may not be enough---I had just visually inspected the
hose two days before we left on the trip. I hope our close call will
encourage others to change that hose.
