If the rack you have look like they're set up for cars *without* rain gutters (which it may be after being used on the hatch) then you'll likely need to acquire a new set of "feet". Yakimas "1A Raingutter" feet have what look like blades rather than pads where they contact the vehicle. "But it won't reach the rain gutters..." and for that there are small brackets that need to be mounted onto the top (through the top) for the feet to hold onto. The declared limit is "2 bikes" but more can be loaded on depending on how comfortable you are with putting load on the fiberglas. We've had a set on an '80 West for nearly 15 years without any problems.
