I don't want to appear simple minded but I'm about to wax my Westy again. I have in the past used Maguiars, Turtle wax and most recently Mothers. I've seen some mention about Zumoil and a few other brands. I have a new bottle of 2001 Car wax that I haven't tried because its urethane and urethane tends to yellow. The paint is getting thin on some areas of my Westy and I'd like to choose the best and least abrasive wax for future wax jobs. I just finished waxing an 81 Westy with Mothers and it seemed to bring the color back real good without much rubbing. I've seen the Mothers products highly touted at car shows but I'm looking for durability that will stand up to outside storage conditions. My color is still bright and the finish is still good so I'm wanting to find some product that removes the least amount of paint in the application and removal process.
