Naah. ten to one it's the switch. They are not designed to handle full power and if run on high for a long period of time, they will melt internally and you will lose your contact. I've had three of them go away. David Beierl sent me instructions on wiring the high speed setting through a relay. Don't yet know how well this works, since that van isn't back on the road yet.
