As for tailwinds... not really. It was more like a side wind and some at about 10 O'Clock. Actual # is 23.68 averaged from Livingston Montana to Lewiston Idaho (but i like 'just under 24' better). Things that helped were probably the properly inflated tires (yet they are due to be replaced soon), and steady speed of 62-64mph. Maybe the canoe cut the wind better? Maybe it was the Trade Winds? Or maybe the cool John Coltrane oozing from the speakers? And my tires are stock size. M
