Tom,

So far, Ive got 25,000 on the pads, drive mostly in the city, with an automatic transmision,and I have genuine VW pads on her.

One interesting thing that I have found with other vehicles I've owned, and stiill do.

FLAPS generic pads never seem to last as long as OE.

Why?---Can't say, except the price was cheaper, so probably the material in the pads was too.
