Maybe I am lucky or maybe it is because I have had some good coaches (Ken Wilford at VanAgain and the sr. a/c tech in the office complex where I work), but the A/C on my '84 is doing better than ever. At around 8 a.m. with outside temp of around 70F, I get around 40F out of driver's outlet. At around 5 p.m. with outside temp of 90F, it get 60F air after I have driven about 12 miles. Refrigerant in my van is Freeze-12.
