Fan: I've go my fridge out and wanted to do a little maintenence on it while it is convenient. The little fan in the back seems noisy, like it's bearings are shot. I hooked it up, and it seems to be blowing *down*. This doesn't seem right to me, since heat will be wanting to rise back there. I am pretty sure I had the polarity right on the wiring. Is it supposed to blow up or down? 2nd question: I want to replace the fan with a little 12v fan from a PC power supply. Any reason not to do that? Combustion Chamber: I have read of cleaning the CC on the fridge, but am looking for some details. Didnt' have any luck in the archives. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Edward |
