Here is the result that I have found To get to 105 degrees C you need to be able to get your pot to 17.5285 pounds of pressure absolute; not to worry, sea level gives you 14.7 pounds of pressure absolute so you only need to get another 2.8285 pounds of pressure from sea level. If you can get a little less that would be ok too because the above specs of 17.5285 would give you 105.04 deg C and no one wants a thermostat that isn't correctly calibrated. For a side note don't use a pressure cooker it gives an additional 15 pounds of pressure so you'll be about 250 deg C. and that's a lot of hot. Jere 90 GL 88 GL |
