Nathan, Want to make yourself some bullet-proof, "It'll last forever" exhaust supports cheap? This will require an oxy-acetylene torch set-up, and several lengths of rod stock the same diameter of the original ones. Heat the ends, of the correct length of rod, cherry red, and stick the hot end into a vice. Quickly run the vice down onto the red end of the rod, to flatten the end. Repeat this on the other side of the rod. Drill the correct clearance hole size on both ends, and bolt them up. I made 4 of these 2 years ago, when I replaced my exhaust system, and they aren't even looking like they are ever going to leave.
Total Cost ? $5.35, plus whatever time it took me-----maybe 45 minutes, to manufacture them. Good Luck, ______________ |[ ] [ ] [ ]\ | | | | ~~~ ~||-(())----(())-| Terry-- 74 Campmobile- (Clementine) 85 GL- (Delilah) 86 BMW 325 ES- (Eva) |
