Hi,

I'm not a chemical eng however I think oil's shelf life is measured in half lives with lots of zeros. But the saving grace of the process, unlike many other physic, biological, and chemical, it will not revert back to its original state of a dinosaur. Nor is it like a wine, it won't get any better.

Just don't contaminate it.

Wal-Mart has 20w50 on sale and I was going to stock up. Do I have to worry about shelf life?
