Cry Me a River Clan,
with all that research you did (from such a reliable source as Cap'n AnalRetention), you should know full well how long the BUsdepot takes on orders.
CRy, Cry,Cry....the muffler is hot, but you still keep touching it.
If whiners keep bitching, the busdepot is going to improve their service and delivery times....and then raise their prices!  Like every other (almost) person on this list, i buy regularly from the depot and never have any serious problems.   sure, they may take a while to ship, but it keeps them cheap for those of us with the BRAINS to plan ahead.  When i need something in a hurry, i buy it from my FLAPS, and pay a PREMIUM for it.  Plus, as far as the backordering goes, I can't imagine you were able to miraculously bypass the online ordering form where you check that you have read the baove information, which would have saved you some grief as it contains their policies on out-of-stock parts.  Next time, read the small print.  Just because you made some bad judgemtents and made mistakes in the ordering process, don't bring it to the list.  All it does if give free publicity to the big, bad, busdepot from all of the loyal customers who understand that to save a buck, sometimes y
ou have to trade off.

Hmmmm...everytime i've called the BD and gotten the machine, it doesn't take a message!  You must have the "special number"
