I doubt it but have you ever noticed sediments in the bottom of a quart of Castrol ? I guess the additives came out of solution. The first time I noticed it was in the bottom of the last quart poured into my 356. I freaked out thinking I had used a quart that was left open and had collect dirt. Hence I drained the sump. Then I noticed that all the quarts were like that! D'oh! So I just shook each one well and went on with it.
