Subject: TIICO: Throttle Cable - Automatic

If there is anyone who has done a TIICO conversion with an automatic trans, I'd like to know how the throttle cable should attach to the transmission. The kit contains a bracket which looks like it should bolt to the transmission housing but the holes in the bracket don't quite line up. Am I correct in assuming I need to redrill the bracket to fit? Also the cable end has some kludgy spring arrangement. How is that attached to the kickdown lever?

Thanks, Bill Knight
