You could just pinch them off, but it depends on what kind of shape the hoses are in. Make sure and check that the "T"'s that connect those hoses to the front heater hoses are in good shape.

If you only lose a small amount of coolant, you shouldn't have to bleed the system.

If the rear core was crusty, what kind of shape do you think the front core and radiator are in?
