I have seen a similar product at Wal-Mart, can't remember it's name, but it claims to seal all leaks including in the hoses. Since I also have a slow leak I would be very interested in whether it works or is more snake oil. One thing I did notice at the end of the instructions for this product, is that once you put it in, you must IMEDIATELY top up with Freon (R12 or 134a), otherwise it will seal up the pressure port as well!
